Save the Children is an international organization that works in more than 120 countries to promote and defend children’s rights.

We also work in Latin America and the Caribbean to improve the lives of the most vulnerable children and adolescents. Our regional priorities are migration and displacement, safe return to school, social protection, and resilient families.

Save the Children’s Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean promotes communication that gives a voice to children and adolescents in the region through initiatives such as the Save the Children Journalism Award, the ongoing relationship with the media, the dissemination of its achievements, programs and the voices of children and adolescents in the region, among other communication initiatives that seek to make the realities of children and adolescents visible.

On this occasion, we are organizing the Save the Children Regional Photography Contest for Latin America and the Caribbean for professional photographers to reflect on the reality of climate change and hunger faced by children and adolescents in the region, the risks they face, and above all, that through the images help give voice to the reality experienced by children, adolescents, and their families.
